Krishnath College was established in the year 1853 by Maharani Swarnamoyee Devi, who was the Maharani of Cossimbazar Raj from 1844 to 1897. The college is located in Berhampore city in the Murshidabad District situated in the Indian state of West Bengal. The university is accredited with “A” grade by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and affiliated to the University of Kalyani. The college provides twenty-eight programs in different specializations including Arts, Science, Medical, Hotel Management and Physical Education. It is well-equipped with all the modern facilities including Hostel, Library, Laboratory, Gym, Sports etc. Placement facility is also available at the Krishnath College.
